In June 2017, the US-based company launched its second software development delivery center at Aguascalientes. The city was selected for hosting the center due to the high skilled workforce availability in the region.

In May 2017, the IT, consulting and BPO Company from India, launched a new center of excellence at Tlaquepaque, Jalisco. With this project, focused on providing nearshore services, the firm will double its capacity in the state. Nowadays, Wipro operates four different centers in the country.

HCL Technologies
In June 2016, the Indian company announced an investment at Guadalajara, Jalisco, for a project geared to develop apps, software testing and IT infrastructure administration for its customers in the US and Mexico. This is the third expansion of the company in the state and it is estimated it will generate 300 jobs.

In May 2016, the American company announced an investment at Zapopan, Jalisco, which will create 400 jobs. The project consists in an innovation service center to support the company's customers in North and Latin America. Moreover, new solutions will be provided for suppliers of telecommunication services in the region.
